The call with the loan officer, Jim, went good. I am testing the waters to see what the rates are and speculating what will happen with the new President.
Didn’t feel real comfortable with being pressured. He didn’t really explained programs clear. He did stated that he watches the market closely and the gentleman that I’m dealing with at the local back didn’t know what he was talking about as far as what the rates will be doing. I will be getting back in touch with him.
I probably will not apply for a mortgage with him unless his rates are lower. Would prefer to deal with a local company. I might recommend him to others.
